House building update

Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!

We’d like to take a minute to update you on our building fund & progress. The Lord has provided in many unexpected ways over the last several months. We now have $21,000 in our house building-fund! We began purchasing materials last month and have only a few things left to buy before beginning to build on October 4th. We have scheduled flights on August 28th and October 23rd to fly our materials into Tobo. Some of the Tobo men are now gathering timber and bamboo to use for our house and we’re hoping to have everything there ready to use by the time house building begins. We believe we will still need approximately $4000-$5000 more for the flights carrying our building supplies, cargo, and our family into Toboland. We will also be paying for flights for 6-7 men to come and assist us in house building.

Thanks to many of you for your sacrificial giving and for your earnest prayers on our behalf! The Lord continues to use YOU in confirming His desire for us to live and minister among the Tobo people of PNG.
