[Williamson Update] Medical Update

Thanks to many of you who took a minute after our last e-mail to write and encourage us.  Thank you so much for your prayers!

“Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom” Ps 51:6

We believe the Lord has given us peace and wisdom in going a certain route with our medical needs.  At this time we have been given peace to wait and get Eden’s hearing checked later when it is a little more convenient.  Jason is checking into the details for going to a surgeon in PNG where several others have gone for hernia repairs and we believe it is wise to pursue this option before spending a lot of time and money in going out of the country.

Please continue to pray for the details to fall in place so we can get back to the tribe.  We are thankful also that the Lord has given us further direction with the church and we are confident of going back in with a new mindset on our ministry there.  We have been amazed at how the Lord has used His Word in our lives to show us what He is capable of and that He is the One in control of the work in Tobo.  We simply need to walk by faith and hop on board with what He is doing there.  We’re also very thankful for our friends within NTM who have shared their experiences with us and encouraged us.

Tomorrow Jason has the opportunity to take a group of 4 teenagers into Tobo for a few days.  They are part of a work team here from Michigan.  This will be their first trip ever into the bush, pray the Lord uses it to impact their lives!

Thank you for walking through all the mountains and valleys with us and never ceasing to pray for and give to this work!

Your hands & feet,

Jason, Nisae, Kadynn, Judah & Eden

[Williamson Update] Medical Needs

Dear Friends & Family,

We just wanted to write a quick update to ask you to pray for some decisions coming up for us.  Last week we had some doctor appointments which determined that Jason will need to have a hernia repair done and Eden will need to have some further testing done on her hearing.  These would be relatively minor concerns if we were Stateside but since we are in PNG, these things will require leaving the country to seek medical help.  We are weighing the options of either flying to Australia (our whole family) or flying back to the States (just Jason & Eden) and have found that the latter option may be actually be the least expensive.  Before we determine what to do we need to see that we can actually set up appointments rather quickly (possibly late July and be back in less than a month).  If we head to Australia, the medical visa process can be very long and our cheapest flight option is in several weeks, assuming as well that we can make appointments closely following our arrival.

Please pray that the Lord would line up the appointments, flights, visas & finances and show us the best thing to do.

Thank you for your prayers!

Jason, Nisae, Kadynn, Judah & Eden
